Peter Montminy will hold his final session of the school year with Bald Eagle Area as he gives insight on how to help your child or yourself when there are sleep issues. The session will be held 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 23 in the LGI room at Bald Eagle Area Middle and High School.
As part of the district’s education series, Montminy, a certified child psychologist and mindfulness teacher, has been invited to hold several mindfulness sessions.
-Mindful solutions for childhood stress
-Mindful solutions for homework hassles
-Mindful solution for intense emotions such as anger and anxiety
-Mindful solutions for managing daily routines
-Mindful solutions for screen time power struggles
His last session, mindful solutions for sleep problems, can help guests learn practical ways to overcome racing minds and restless bodies that prevent a good night’s sleep. This can help prevent what Montminy said is the No. 1 reported problem in kids and teens – feeling tired.
