The sixth annual Bald Eagle FFA banquet was held at Bald Eagle Area Middle and High School where students, staff and community members were recognized for their contributions to the FFA chapter and for their individual success during the year.
Superintendent Jeff Miles and the state FFA president attended the event to deliver greetings, followed by a potluck meal prepared by students from the animal science class.
This year's outstanding community awards were presented to Ken Teaman of Valley ACE Hardware (Community Success award), and William and Kathy Vargo (Blue and Gold Award). The chapter also inducted four new honorary members: Mike Coakley. Kathy Gee, Dwight Kline and Andrew Markle.
