This information is to provide you as students, parents, guardians, and teachers an opportunity to play an active role in the success of th Mountaintop Elementary School.
Volunteerism, participation in school fundraisers, registration of various "shopper cards, and selected "credit cards" are all ways that you can contribute to the success of the school. Money earned from school fundraisers and bonus programs help in providing:
*Classroom Special Events
*Building Special Events (such as Dr. Seuss Day)
*Bully Prevention Programs (as well as other programs)
*Funding for classroom start-up supplies
*and many other special events through the school year
There are many opportunites to be involved with your child's school:
*and many other ways.....
Show your children by example the importance of giving your time and talents!
The staff and administration hope to work closely with parents and members of the community who can provide assistance to the school. The School Board has adopted a policy that requires all volunteers to complete a volunteer application and provide an Act 34 Criminal Record clearance. The $10 clearance fee will be refunded, upon request, after the volunteer begins to provide service at the school. Reimbursement forms are available at the school office. This important policy is to protect our greatest natural resource, our children. If you are interested in being a volunteer in our school, please share your interest with your child's teacher or Mrs. Crago, Principal.
