Class Rules

All students at Wingate are expected to "Be Kind, Be Responisble and Be the Best You Can Be!" 

We have four schoolwide classroom rules:

"Listen to adults." "Keep hands and feet to self." "Follow directions first time."  "Raise hand to speak.

Notification

Each day the students in my class will complete a homework/self-management chart before departure.  Please review and initial the chart each day.  Remind your student to return the chart the next school day.  code:  green-good day;   yellow-reminder; red 1-broken rule;   red 2-another broken rule;   red 3-a third broken rule   Students who continue to break rules will make a call home or visit Mr. O.

Consequences

Students who are following the rules should be rewarded in some way. Each family will choose consequences for students who do not follow the rules.  A consequence could be loss of a privilege at home.  A contract will be sent home for each family to indicate the rewards and loss of priviledge.
