"Scuba Steve" Thompson prepares to be dunked in a dunk tank by some super K-6 Howard Elementary readers at an end-of-year celebration held Wednesday, June 10.  The students earned the opportunity to participate in throwing the balls by accumulating many Accelerated Reader points.

BEA's own "Scuba Steve" is a native of Howard and attended the Howard Elementary School. Thompson volunteered to be dunked to show his super support for reading and for Howard Elementary students.  In his spare time, "Scuba Steve" is a member of the Bald Eagle Area Technology Department.
