Dear BEA Parents, Faculty, Staff, and Community:
Late this afternoon, we found out that a third case of Covid-19, a student, was confirmed at Wingate Elementary. Students and staff that we know were in direct contact with the student were notified that they were to be quarantined. Tomorrow morning, we will continue to contact trace to see if any additional quarantines will be necessary. If it is necessary, parents will be notified. We will be using district camera footage as part of the contact tracing process.
Yesterday I mentioned that there may be a third possible case at Wingate. This student was not the person I was referring to.
We continue to have no cases elsewhere in the district. As always, I will keep you updated.
