Dear BEA Community:
Yesterday after school, we received word that a student at Wingate Elementary was positive with Covid-19. Through contact tracing, all individuals have been contacted and begun quarantining that were in close contact with the student.
It is my hope that the student recovers quickly and that no others become ill. I want to thank those involved at Wingate Elementary for quickly responding and identifying those individuals that were possibly exposed to the virus.
I want to also thank the employees, parents, and students of our district for your communication and cooperation the past couple of months. I will keep you updated as events warrant.
