Parents/Guardians of 7th and 8th Grade Students,
A Quarter 2 report card and Credit Waiver are being mailed home to all students in grades 7 and 8. If your student is currently taking either Algebra I, Algebra II, Spanish I, or Spanish II they can receive high school credits for those courses if they elect to do so.
At the September 10, 2020 School Board Meeting, the Board of Education approved Middle School students successfully completing Algebra I, Algebra II, Spanish I, or Spanish II to receive high school credit for each course completed prior to beginning their ninth (9th) grade year, to be applied to the twenty-six (26) credits required for graduation.
Please review all of the information and return the letter indicating how you would like to proceed with the counting of credits and grades for Algebra I, Algebra II, Spanish I, or Spanish II prior to ninth grade by Friday, February 5th, 2021.
