Bald Eagle Area School District Board of School Directors Meeting scheduled for July 30, 2020 will be held as a virtual public meeting using the Zoom platform. The public meeting is being held virtually due to Governor Wolf’s Targeted Mitigation Order that took effect on Thursday, July 16, 2020.
In order to attend the meeting online, you will need to preregister by clicking on the link below. After preregistration has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email with the link to join the virtual meeting.
The meeting will be recorded through the Zoom platform for the purpose of recording meeting minutes. Participants (Public) will have the opportunity to provide public comment like any other regular board meeting by using the raise hand feature in Zoom; you will not appear on video. When providing public comment, in accordance with Board Policy No. 903, you will need to clearly announce your full name, address, and group affiliation (if applicable).

How will public comment be received?
During the allotted public comment time within the Board Meeting Agenda, public audience members must be connected through Zoom and will have the opportunity to raise their hand signaling that they would like to provide comments. The “host” will acknowledge each person with their hand raised, at which time they will be able to address the Board verbally for the allotted time.
Will members of the public be seen during the meeting?
During the meeting, you will be able to see and hear the Board of School Directors, however, they will not be able to see you and they will only hear you if you have used the raise hand feature in Zoom during the public comment period of the meeting.
