Wingate receives Title I funding, therefore can send a family to the annual State Parent Advisory Council (SPAC) Conference in Seven Springs, PA by using their Title I funds. This conference is designed for parents who want to learn ideas and strategies to help their child at home, or who want to become parent leaders at the school level. Our family that attend this year was Scott and Patricia Letterman. They had an excellent time and were awarded a certificate recognizing them for attending and completing the required workshops to help empower their family to be future ready. Mr. Orichosky presented the certificate to Patricia Letterman at the Parent Advisory Meeting at Wingate Elementary on September 11, 2019.
