Good evening BEA Families,

Information pertaining to Chromebook pickup, face masks/face shields, thermometers, and educational procedures is below. Thank you for being patient as we worked through the changes to wearing face masks/face coverings in school that was shared by PDE earlier this week.

Families selecting Option 1: Face-to-Face

  • If you indicated, on the district survey, a need for a face mask/face shield and/or digital thermometer, these item(s) can be picked up at your child's school on:
  • If you did not request these items and need them prior to the start of school, please contact your child's building principal.
  • Your child will receive their Chromebook on the first day of school.  Please send your signed Chromebook form, sent in the mail, to school with your child. A student will not be permitted to take their Chromebook home unless this form is signed and returned. Extra forms are available at the school if you forget or need another copy.   

Families selecting Option 2: Two Days On-Two Days Off

  • Chromebooks can be picked up at your child's school. Please bring your signed Chromebook form, sent in the mail, with you. Extra forms will be available at the school if you forget or need another copy. 
  • At the time of Chromebook pickup, you will be informed which group your child(ren) was placed: Group A or Group B. A calendar noting Group A and Group B days will be posted monthly on the district website and other school social media sites.   
  • Elementary aged child(ren) will receive/be receiving a class schedule  from their teacher before the first day of school. These schedules are specific to each elementary building and grade level. You will need this information to participate in the live streaming option. Your child's teacher(s) will reach out to you with more specific details in the next few days.

Families selecting Option 3: Remote Instruction

  • Chromebooks can be picked up at your child's school. Please bring your signed Chromebook form, sent in the mail, with you. Extra forms will be available at the school if you forget or need another copy. 
  • Elementary aged child(ren) will receive/be receiving a class schedule  from their teacher before the first day of school. These schedules are specific to each elementary building and grade level. You will need this information to participate in the live streaming option. Your child's teacher(s) will reach out to you with more specific details in the next few days. 
  • School assignments, materials, or instructional supplies will be exchanged on Friday at each school building during the school year. This is the time that parents/guardians/students will submit any items for teacher review or to return supplies/materials. This is also when teachers will provide students with such things as text books, work books, additional materials for classes, or worksheets. The exchanging of class materials will only occur on Friday during normal school hours (8:00 AM - 3:30 PM).   

Families selecting Option 4: Cyber Academy

  • Chromebooks can be picked up at your child's school. Please bring your signed Chromebook form, sent in the mail, with you. Extra forms will be available at the school if you forget or need another copy. 
  • Your child(ren)'s schedule is being created and will be provided to you in the next few days. Please check your email the beginning of next week for information and login details.
