FFA

As summer winds down, many Bald Eagle FFA and 4-H members had a very successful week at the 2021 Centre County Grange fair.  One of the highlights was Bald Eagle High School Senior Hailey Bucha being crowned first alternate in the Centre County Queen competition.  Throughout the week, students earned many awards in competitions reflecting a diverse range of interests.

  • Hannah Trigg- 2nd place intermediate showmanship dairy goats, Alpine Reserve Senior Champion Doe, Alpine Reserve Grand Champion Doe, 1st place small fancy young doe (Lionhead), and 3rd place small fancy young buck (Lionhead/Holland lop)

  • Alexis Yoder- 2nd place intermediate weight class market goat and 8th place light weight market goat

  • Autumn Yoder- 5th place medium weight market goat and 8th place intermediate weight class 

  • Maelee Yoder- 3rd place medium wright market goat and 3rd place medium weight market goat

  • Tayten Yoder- 4th place heavyweight market goat and 9th place intermediate weight market goat

Below is a list of Mount Nittany 4-H Ag Club participants and their honors:

  • Wyatt Knepp- 3rd place Market goat , 3rd place Market swine participent, Market rabbit participent, Breeding rabbit participant

  • Coleman Liner- Grand Champion Dairy Beef and 2nd place showman, Market swine participant

Below is a list of Penns Valley 4-H participants and their honors:

  • Kailey Eckert- Reserve Grand Champion crossbred swine, Reserve Grand Champion overall swine, and Grand Champion Market Swine showman
