Dear BEA Community: 

No decision has been made to go remote learning at this time.  We had an additional case at the MS/HS today, along with an additional case at Mountaintop yesterday.  At this time, I will be discussing the matter of remote learning with the Board this evening.  I want to thank those of you who sent me emails expressing your concerns for going to remote learning.  i will be sharing those concerns with the Board this evening.  I too share many of the concerns that were conveyed to me. 
The case today quarantined an additional 14 students at the MS/HS.  All schools will be in session for in-person learning tomorrow, Thursday, September 23.  Tomorrow, I will send out a summary of the decisions made at tonight's Board meeting.
