This weeks is Red Ribbon Week! October 23rd
Red Ribbon Week highlights the importance of living a drug-free life. It presents an opportunity for parents, educators, and communities to reinforce the drug-free messages they share with their children throughout the year. During Red Ribbon Week, youth and adults around the nation pledge to increase their knowledge by learning more about the destructive effects of drug abuse, including prescription drug misuse, and renew their commitment to live a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

As a reminder, No School Friday, October 20 2023 for students. Tomorrow is an Act 80 day for staff.

Tonight's meeting in the LGI room at the high school is part of a routine Comprehensive Plan update. This is required by the state and takes place every three years. The focus of this meeting is to discuss curriculum and instructional practices that will be provided over the next three years in our BEA schools. Previous copies of the Comprehensive Plan going back to 2016 are available on our website. The Bald Eagle Area School District is holding a Comprehensive Planning Meeting on Monday, September 18th from 5:30-7:00 PM in the LGI Room at the Middle/High School. We hope you will consider attending and contributing to the development of the District's plan.

Bald Eagle Area School District has partnered with ESS to manage our substitute program. A leader in K-12 staffing, ESS is responsible for the hiring, training, and placement of all. Daily and Long-term substitute teachers, school aides, custodians, food service workers, clerical personnel, etc.

Wednesday January 25th is a Flexible Instructional Day. (FID) #2. All activities are cancelled. No in-person class.
